About the Chef...

Ralph Jason Younger Owner & Executive Chef of Simply Black & White Catering & Events, a premiere full service catering and event Management Company. Chef Ralph Jason Younger began to develop a passion for cuisine when he was fourteen years old. Starting out with simple recipes from a book he received as a birthday gift.  He soon became proficient at executing basic recipes, eventually learning how to create exciting and creative meals. At age fifteen he started working for his family’s catering company.

Ralph Jason Younger graduated from Falmouth High School on Cape Cod. He then went to Framingham State University where he obtained a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration. Shortly thereafter,  he  attended and graduated with a degree from Le Cordon Bleu, The Miami School of Culinary Arts.

After graduation he sought new challenges and adventures in "white tablecloth" cuisine and service. He then took a position working at a well know catering company in Miami. As sous chef, he took on the responsibility of running a kitchen, fabricating and executing menus which fused the many different cultures that blend so well in South Florida. He also was the exclusive private chef for a luxury private Resort Company named Villazzo.





















He was quickly promoted to Events and Marketing Manager. In that position he had developed and implemented new marketing and sales campaigns for the company. He aided in the development of marketing and sales planning, logistical evaluation, budgeting and forecasting. With an increase in sales, he had taken on the responsibility of employees recruiting, selection, training, and evaluations.

Chef Ralph Jason was the Food & Beverage Manager at The Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Providence RI where he focused on elevating their clients dining experience and using his knowledge to provide a truly memorable culinary experience.

In his current role as Operation Manager for Driven Women: Cape Cod’s Conference for Women 2016, he is using all of his talents to aide in the execution of providing a truly spectacular one day women’s conference for the women of Cape Cod and surrounding areas.

As his business and brand continues to grow and expand, his list of services have increased. We now offer Personal Chef Services, Event Management, Event Planning, Lifestyle & Property Management, Hospitality Consultation, Bartending Services, Concierge Services and so much more. 

He is a blogger “My Daddy wears an Apron” and writes about the adventures of being a young family dealing with finding work life harmony. It highlights being a 35 years old man balancing and building a business while being a stay at home father of two energetic and loving children Jackson Cole and Emma Riley.

Ralph Jason has always been active in his community and serves on Swansea SEPAC, Young Professional of Fall River, BNI, Boy State Alumni, and MDSC Member. He is the formal regional advisor board for education in Cape and Island. He volunteers in a myriad of organization and donates to many of the community endeavors
